Notes
"Love Jack-O-Lanterns" are not the Halloween version, certainly, but probably the older English usage of "night watchman" (Jack of the Lanthorn) who made rounds each night with his light to protect the sleeping villagers.
Lyrics

Night-time and I am dreaming,
Across the desert the Moonlight's streaming,
lighting the way, dear.
My heart tonight is laden, Egyptian Maiden,
With love for you. So

CHORUS:
Come to me, my dreamy Cairo maiden,
Down where the old dreamy Nile is flowing,
We'll set our Love Jack-O-Lanterns glowing,
Come to me, my lonesome heart is waiting,
Oh, can't you see it's Egyptian Moonlight, tonight.

Sweetheart since days of olden,
Across the desert the Moonlight golden
guided the lover.
Wake, then and let its ray be
The light that guides thee,
Sweetheart to me.
